Santa's Rockin'! is the eighteenth Wiggles video special from 2004 and the third Christmas special, after Yule Be Wiggling.

Ring-A-Ding-A-Ding Dong! The bells are ringing for Christmas Day and The Wiggles are joined by that Great Big Man In Red, Santa Claus! Wags can't stop barking with excitement, Henry the Octopus is the champion Christmas wrapper and Dorothy loves her Christmas roses. It's time to combine your two favourite things, The Wiggles and Christmas, and tap your mistletoes everyone, because Santa's Rockin'!

The video for Santa’s Rockin’! was filmed primarily in March 2004. The footage of Murray in New York was filmed in November 2003 sometime before or after The Wiggles' appearance in the 2003 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Greg: "Christmas sounds are everywhere..."

Captain Feathersword: (He is using falsetto to ring those Christmas bells really loudly, that Greg interrupted.)

Greg: Captain! Captain, that's really loud! Captain! I'm trying to tell them about the... never mind. Here it comes, everyone!

Murray: Hi, everyone. This is our great friend, John Fogerty. Hi, John, how are you doing?

John Fogerty: Hey, Murray. (to the camera, waving to the viewers.) Hi, everyone.

Murray: John, at Christmas time, how do you celebrate? How do you spend the time with your family?

John Fogerty: Oh, I think Christmas is a great time to be home with your family. That's what we do, we just all get together, you know, in the morning, open presents and have a big feast later in the day. Great fun.

Murray: And what about music? Does music play a big part of Christmas for you?

John Fogerty: Oh, yes, I love when all the great Christmas songs are just around. You're singing "Jingle Bells", and other songs like that.

Murray: Yeah, it's great. People celebrate Christmas all around the world in lots of different ways. Here's a song all about Christmas all over the world.

(A spinning circle transition to the song: Great Big Man In Red. A scene where Paul Paddick as the news reporter to announce that Santa Claus just been arrived at Christmas time.)

Paul Paddick: (as news reporter.) "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, exciting news! Yes, that man is red, the jolly gentlemen himself, Santa Claus... has been seen. Paul Paddick: (as news reporter.) "Yes, everybody, he has arrived. He's here in the studio, the big man in red, Santa Claus. Do you have anything to say, Santa?

(It transitions to Anthony holding a book to tells everyone about the Nativity scene about a baby who is sleeping in the hay.)

Anthony: (He's holding a Christmas book.) Everybody, around Christmas time people love to sing Christmas carols and they talk about the first Christmas when the little baby Jesus was born. "Away in a Manger" talks about how the the baby Jesus lay asleep in the hay. And then, the cattle, they were lowing and the baby Jesus woke up, but he didn't cry. Today we have some wonderful friends, some children, who've dressed up to be just like baby Jesus, like the cattle, and like the sheep. They're recreating the original Nativity scene. Come and join us in "Away in a Manger".

(It transitions to the song: Away in a Manger. A scene where The Wiggles are playing their instruments to the part where baby Jesus was born.)

Anthony: Merry Christmas, everybody. Once again, merry Christmas and it really is a merry Christmas because look who's joined us. It's the wonderful Sam Moran. He's a beautiful singer, he's a beautiful dancer, he's a wonderful guy. Now, Sam, you're dressed incredibly. Are you about to sing?

Professor Singalottasonga: I certainly am, Anthony.

Anthony: Well, tell us about what you're wearing.

Professor Singalottasonga: (He's holding a cape with music notes on it.) Well, Anthony, I'm wearing my musical cape and it's covered in musical symbols.

Anthony: (He's going underneath his cape.) Ha, ha, ha, so it is, everyone! Look! They're treble clefs.

Professor Singalottasonga: That's right!

Jeff: (He's going underneath his cape.) And your beautiful white suit has music notes all over it. Hey! They're quavers.

Professor Singalottasonga: That's right, too, Jeff. If they help me to sing.

Anthony: Well, talking about singing, Sam, what are you going to sing for us today? What are you going to sing?

Professor Singalottasonga: Well, Anthony, I'm going to sing the beautiful Barcarolle. It's a traditional song with new words all about the very first Christmas morning.

Anthony: The very first Christmas morning? The Barcarolle, traditional, new words, it sounds wonderful! Take it away, Sammy-whammy!

Santa: Oh, Murray, oh, there's so many presents here to be wrapped, I'm not sure I'll have it all done my Christmas day. Ho, ho, ho, ho!

Murray: Santa Claus, that is a problem. You need someone to help you wrap those presents. Now who could we get? What do you think, everyone? We need someone with lots of arms, who could help Santa Claus wrap the presents. (He gasps.) Yes, that's a great idea. of course, Henry the Octopus. He's got eight tentacles, he'd be wonderful at wrapping.

Santa: Oh, ho, what a great idea, Murray. Ho, ho, ho, Henry would be a champion Christmas wrapper. Ho, ho, ho!

(Shot cuts to the song: Henry The Champion Christmas Wrapper. A scene where Henry is using his tentacles to wrap their presents quickly & giving it to the elves & Santa to put gifts in his sleigh.)

Murray: Everyone, we're here with our great friend, Ross Wilson, otherwise known as "King Mondo". Ross, you've written a great song, a great Christmas song, with your friend, Eris O'Brein. Can you tell us what it's all about?

Ross Wilson: Well, we wrote this song for families all around the world, so we can remember the birth of the baby Jesus every year.

Greg: Oh, fantastic, Ross. You know, I've got a question. Uh, does that crown on your head ever get really heavy? It must make you tired.

Ross Wilson: It is a bit heavy. So before I sing this song, (He's taking off his crown and giving it to Greg.) I'll just hand it over to you.

Greg: Cool! (He is holding the crown. But then, dropping down on his knees.) WHOA!

Anthony: Now, Julio, how do you say "merry Christmas" in Spanish?

Julio: "Merry Christmas" is Feliz Navidad. "Feliz" means "merry" and "Navidad" means "Christmas".

Anthony: Well, feliz Navidad to everybody. (He chuckles.)

Fernando: Sí señor?

Anthony: Now, Fernando, how do you celebrate Christmas in Mexico?

Fernando: Oh, muchas fiestas, muchos gritos. Like... (He laughs.) ..yelling out like this. And you know what, amigos, hmm... a lot, a lot of candy. I mean, dulces, mmm, yummy. Y cantamos posadas. Posadas fantásticas.

Fernandito: Sí, posadas.

Anthony: Fernandito, tell us, what was Fernando telling us about there?

Fernandito: Well, we have lots of parties, of course, and one of the most important things is Las Posadas. What we do is we go out into the street and we just celebrate, we sing.

Fernando: Ha-ay!

Fernandito: And we carry candles, singing Christmas songs.

Anthony: And one of those Christmas songs you sing is "To Our Lady Guadalupe". Would you sing that for us a little bit? Oh, we love this.

Fernandito: Yes, of course. Sí.

Anthony: (He's holding a Christmas book.) Ahh! Everybody, did you know that in the Southern Hemisphere around Christmas time. It's usually pretty warm? So most people are walking around in T-shirts and shorts and they have a wonderful summery barbecue some people have around Christmas. But in the Northern Hemisphere, well, it's totally different. It's winter time. So usually it's pretty cold and people put on their gloves and their warm hats and their warm coats. Right now, thoug, it's time to travel to the United States of America, snd Staten Island, where the wonderful man in red, Murray, that other wonderful man in red, is talking to some friends of ours about Christmas in the Northern Hemisphere. Here he comes.

(Shot transition to Murray in Staten Island in America to interview about Christmas.)

Murray: Yes, Anthony, I'm here on Staten Island in the USA and Christmas over here is a bit cold because it's winter time. I'm a little bit cold, but I've got my gloves on and I've got my woolly hat to keep me warm. And I'm here with some great friends of ours. Everyone, this is Jackie and Chris.

Jackie: Hi, everyone.

Murray: Jackie, how do you celebrate Christmas here in the U.S.?

Jackie: Well, Murray, Christmas is a big holiday here in New York and whst we like to do is get together with all our family and friends. And especially Christmas Eve, we like to have a big dinner, a big feast of turkey and mashed potatoes and desserts of all kinds. And usually after that, we exchange presents with everybody...

Chris: Mommy, and we play.

Jackie: ..and we like to plsy with our presents after we get them, and we always like to end the night with reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas". And, of course, leaving cookies and milk for Santa Claus, so that when he comes to our house, he can eat them and have a little snack break.

Murray: Great! Hey, Chris, what's your favorite thing about Christmas?

Chris: Um, playing in the snow.

Murray: Playing in the snow. That's wonderful, playing in the snow. We don't have snow in Australia at Christmas, but Christmas on Staten Island sounds wonderful!

(A shape opening transition to Greg is holding a Christmas book, while his favorite Christmas carol song.)

Greg: (He's holding a Christmas book.) Everybody, there's lots of great Christmas carols to be sung and one of my favorite Christmas carols is called, "O Come All Ye Faithful". In this song, we'd love you to join in the marching procession and "Come All Ye Faithful".
