Racing to the Rainbow is the twenty-fifth Wiggles video special that was released on Friday September 8, 2006. It was the last special to feature Greg until Surfer Jeff in 2012.
Overview[]
The Wiggles and their friends decide to race to the end of the rainbow that they see after a storm. Dorothy, Wags and Henry race in a hot air balloon, Captain Feathersword and his crew race in the ship. The Wiggles travel in the Big Red Car and the Big Red Boat. We meet Magdalena the Mermaid and new friends, the King of the Road and the Queen of the Rainbow! Along this colourful journey The Wiggles get to fulfil their dreams. Hooray! It's a kaleidoscope of colours, characters, music and fun! Join us on The Wiggles' most exciting adventure yet as we go Racing to the Rainbow!

(The video starts with the balloons falling from the sky When, Everybody Dance! instrumental track is playing in the background. Then, The Wiggles Logo appears on the screen then the title card comes out. While The Wiggles are holding their title card for the video. Then, it shows their names in the opening sequence. After that, the scene fades to the morning sun comes up. Then, it fades to the kookaburra is sitting in the tree. Then, it fades to the chicken with the hiccups.)
Greg: Hi. (with the others.) We're The Wiggles. (himself.) I'm Greg.
Murray: I'm Murray.
Jeff: I'm Jeff.
Anthony: I'm Anthony. And can you see that chicken? (The Wiggles turn around & look at the hiccupping chicken.) That chicken's got the hiccups. (He hiccups with Murray, Greg, Jeff & the chicken could do that as well.)

Jeff: (He pops up, while dressing up as a scarecrow.) Hi! We're playing a game of hide and seek with the Captain too. I'm dressing up like a scarecrow. The Captain will never know it's me. Anthony's hiding behind the topiary shaped like an emu. And Murray's hiding behind the topiary shaped like a kangaroo. Greg is pretending to be a statue. The Captain will never know it's any of us. Here he comes now. I'd better get in position. (He gets into a position & holds it.)
Captain Feathersword: (He's singing, while searching for a friend.) I'm look, I'm look, I'm looking for my friends. I'm look... (He stops singing, while looking at the viewers.) Ooh! Ahoy there, me hearties. I'm still looking for my Wiggly friends. Have you seen any of them anywhere? Oh! Never mind. I'll keep looking. (He's singing, while searching for a friend.) I'm look, I'm look, I'm looking for my friends. I'm look... What's that? You can see Jeff Wiggle? Where? I can't see Jeff Wiggle anywhere. Just this wonderful scarecrow. (with Jeff was making their funny sound.) Ree-oo, ree-oo, ree-oo... Oh, ho, ho! Well, never mind. I'll keep looking, me hearties. Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo! (He's singing, while searching for a friend.) I can see a wonderful topiary kangaroo, though. Hoo-hoo-hoo! Oh, let's keep looking. (He's singing, while searching for a friend.) I look, I look, I look, I look, I look, I look, I looking... What was that? Greg Wiggle? Are you sure? Oh, I really can't see Greg Wiggle. I can see a wonderful statue with a yellow shirt on, but no Greg Wiggle. (sighs) Never mind. We can keep looking, me hearties. (He's singing, while searching for a friend.) I look, I look, I'm looking for my friends. I look, I look... Oh, Anthony, the Blue Wiggle. You can see him? I just can't seem to see these Wiggles anywhere (Anthony takes a big bite of an apple & chews it.) Ho-ho, Anthony! Hoo-hoo-hoo! Oh, I knew it was him all along.
Anthony: Captain, I gave the game away, but I couldn't resist biting this beautiful apple.
Captain Feathersword: Murray, Greg, oh, I knew you were there as well.
Greg: Come on, Captain, we all tricked you, even though you had the help of our very clever friends. Everyone, let's say, "Ahoy there, Captain Feathersword." (with Anthony, Murray & Jeff.) Ahoy there, Captain Feathersword.
Captain Feathersword: Ahoy there, me hearties!
Murray: It's such a beautiful sunny day. It makes me feel like dancing. You know, someone else who really loves to dance is Dorothy The Dinosaur. Let's dance with Dorothy to "Music Box Dancer".
(Shot transition to the song: Music Box Dancer. A scene where Lucia is in the music box. While, she dances the ballet with The Wiggles, Dorothy & Captain Feathersword could do the actions.)

Anthony: Hey, everyone. Do you like to go outside and have some fun? I do. Well, that's after I've had a healthy breakfast. But you know what? Jeff likes to go outside and have fun. He likes to play. And this is how he does it. He falls asleep.
Murray: We need you help to wake Jeff up. When we count to three, let's all say, "Wake up, Jeff!"
Anthony: Yeah, and if we say it really loud, Jeff might do some fun things. He might wake up and go, (He blubbers, while waking Jeff up.) "Thanks for waking me up." And then he might do two handsprings.
Murray: Anthony, did you say two handsprings?
Anthony: Well, I did, but maybe we should make it three handsprings.
Murray & Greg: Three handsprings? (with Anthony.) Hooray!
Greg: Alright, everybody, this sounds pretty exciting. Let's wake Jeff up and we'll see what happens. Are you ready? (with Murray & Anthony.) 1, 2, 3. WAKE UP, JEFF!!!!!!
Jeff: (He blubbers, while waking up.) Thanks for waking me up, everyone. Here comes three handsprings. (He does make three handsprings, while during a five second clip of Running Up The Sandhills instrumental track plays in the background.) Whoo-hoo! Nothing like a bit of exercise on a beautiful day.
Anthony: Well done, Jeff, and thanks, everybody, for waking Jeff up. I tell you what, it is a beautiful day. The breeze is blowing. It's making the leaves shake. Let's all shake like leaves on a tree. (They're shaking with our hands.)

Anthony: (He laughs.) Oh, boy! They don't call it a windstorm for nothing. Hey, all that wind blew leaves into our hair and made us look a little bit messy. Guys, why don't we clean up in Wiggle time? Are you ready? 1, 2, 3. (with Jeff, Murray, Greg & Captain Feathersword.) Wiggle!
(It transitions to everyone looking clean.)
Murray: Hey, that's better.
Anthony: I tell you what, that windstorm ruined our picnic and I'm so hungry.
Greg: Never mind. There's lots of things we can do inside.
Anthony: Yeah, I tell you what, we can all play with our teddies. Everybody, get your teddy bears ready because right now it's time for the "Teddy Bears Big Day Out".

Captain Feathersword: Oh-ho! We could have a race! I could go in the S.S. Feathersword, and you, my friends, could go in the Big Red Car.
Anthony: Yes, gallant Captain. Everybody, that's fantastic. First one to the end of the rainbow wins the race.
Greg: Um, but there's just one problem, though. I'm not sure that Wags, Dorothy and Henry will fit in the Big Red Car with us.
Captain Feathersword: Oh, and it might be a bit of a tight squeeze for them on board the S.S. Feathersword.
Greg: Oh, well, there goes that idea.
Murray: I think I might have a solution!
All: You do?
Murray: Oh, yes, it's round, it's full of air, it's got a basket underneath and it floats through the sky. Look!
(Trumpet fanfare, until it shows the Dorothy's hot air balloon.)
Dorothy: It's a hot air balloon. Thanks, Murray.
Anthony: Wow, a hot air balloon! Well, you know what? There's lots of balloons, everybody. Different types of balloons, hot air balloons, little balloons, balloons you blow up. Balloons are fun. They're lots of colours too. Let's all sing a song about balloons.

Dorothy: Come on, Wags and Henry, let's go for a trip in my rosy balloon. (They were all gonna get on the rosy balloon. Then, it floats up high. While, The Tra-La-La Song instrumental track plays in the background.) This is so exciting.
Wags: Woof! But hold on tight! This could get "ruff"!
Jeff: Ooh, it looks comfortable in that balloon, so comfy it's making me... (He yawns.) ..sleepy.
Anthony: (He's holding a tray full of food.) That's great, Jeff, but there's no time to sleep now. We've got to load the Big Red Car full of these wonderful supplies.
Captain Feathersword: Oh, yes, and I've got to get back to my ship and crew. We'll be ready to go before you can say, "Blow me down". (The Wiggles blown down Captain Feathersword. Then, it transitions to Captain was tumbling down backwards to the S.S. Feathersword, while he falls off the steps.) Whooooooaaaaa! Whhaaaaaaa! Arggh! (with the pirate crew are trying to carry him up. While, they're saying "Whoa!".) Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo. Oh, I've got to stop saying that.
Pirate Crew: You've got to stop saying what?
Captain Feathersword: Oh, I've got to stop saying, "Well, blow me down." Oh, no! (The pirate crew are blowing Captain down. Then, they were trying to carry him up, while they're saying "Whoa!".)

Dorothy: The Captain looks ready for an adventure.

Anthony: (He's holding a tray full of food.) Just a few moments, Henry. We're just packing the Big Red Car with this beautiful food.
Greg: Anthony, you know what? You can't take that much food, mate. It just won't fit in the Big Red Car.
Anthony: Oh, well, here's the solution, I better eat some. (He is eating his sandwich very too fast.)

Greg: Check you seatbelts, guys. ( He puts his seatbelt on getting ready to start the race.)

Anthony: (He's holding a pie to eat.) Boy, I've got my pie ready to eat during the race.
Greg: Be careful, Anthony, I mean, we're just about to take off and you know that when there's pies involved, somebody ends up with it all over their face.

(It transitions to the Wiggly Mascots are floating through the hot air balloon, Captain Feathersword & his pirate crew are sailing across the ocean & The Wiggles are driving the Big Red Car across the road to find the end of the rainbow. While, Shakin' Like a Leafy Tree instrumental track is playing in the background. But then, it translates to Captain Feathersword heard something very strange.)
Captain Feathersword: Oh-ho, that sounds like a foghorn, me hearties. Oh, that means some fog must be rolling in. Quick, let's get below deck. Hoo-hoo-hoo! (He saws Mario that he's sneezing with his handkerchief.) Oh, Mario.

(A drum flourish sound & hit the cymbal, 'cause they were laughing over that funny joke. Then, shot transition to The Wiggles are looking at beautiful countryside & looking at the sheep.)

(Sheep baaing sound to the song: Baa-Baa Black Sheep. A scene where Anthony is holding a sheep sock puppet, while Murray playing his red maton acoustic guitar.)

Scottish Dave: (He speaks in Scottish accent.) Captain, there's a storrrrm approaching.

(A drum flourish sound & hit the cymbal.)
Dorothy: Look over there. The Wiggles are going towards the rainbow's yellow light.
Henry: This is very exciting!
(It transitions to Greg tries to start the Big Red Car, but it won't start. Until, the colour all in yellow filter when yellow confetti flew everywhere all over them.)
Greg: Er, guys, the Big Red Car won't start.
Anthony: Well, what are we going to do, Greg? What are we going to do? Big Red Car won't start.
Greg: I've got no idea.
Jeff: Wow! It's the yellow light of the rainbow. Hey, wasn't the rainbow light red when Murray got the chance to be a rock star?
Anthony: That's right. Red's Murray's favourite colour. It all makes sense.
Jeff: Wow. The light's yellow now. I wonder what that could mean.

(It transitions to The Wiggly Mascots are still in the hot air balloon, until if it gets stormy outside.)
Dorothy: It's getting stormy up here in the balloon too.
Henry: Ohh! The Wiggles have towed the SS Feathersword to safety.
(Shot cuts to the Big Red Boat & the S.S Feathersword are on the calm ocean.)
Caterina: Everyone, we're in calm waters now. Captain, our friends The Wiggles have saved the day. They've pulled us up to safety in this protected bay.
Captain Feathersword: Oh-ho, that they have, Caterina! Hoo-hoo! Thank you, Wiggles!
Greg: Oh, Captain, we're just happy that everything's OK.
Captain Feathersword: Oh, I'm so sorry, me hearties. I should have listened to Magdalena. Now none of us will get to see the end of the rainbow.
Murray: Oh, never mind, Captain. We had great fun getting here.
Greg: Oh, yeah. We got to do new things.
Anthony: Things we've always wanted to do.
Murray: I was a rock star! (He plays air guitar.)
Greg: I painted a magnificent masterpiece.
Anthony: And I was a great footy player.
Jeff: And I conducted a trio.
Captain Feathersword: Wow, I sure would have liked to have seen that.
Jeff: Captain, what's your dream?
Captain Feathersword: Oh, my dream, Jeff? I get to live my dream every day. I sail the high seas and come home safe at night, just like those five little ducks who come home safe every day after they play. (He quacks like a duck.)

Johnny: (Captain is looking through a telescope.) Captain! Captain? Captain, the boat's drifting towards the storm, Captain. He's not listening!
Greg: Captain, it's certainly is a great life on the high seas.
Murray: Yes, and you get to visit lots of beautiful beaches just like that one. (He looks through a telescope, until the waves are too strong.) Uh-oh! Wow, Captain! The waves are rough. I think we're in the storm.
Captain Feathersword: Oh deary! I must have forgotten to put the anchor down. Oh, no!
Pirate Crew, Anthony & Jeff: (They're been tossing & turning, until rocking the boat.) Oh, no! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
Captain Feathersword: (They are putting their safety vests on.) Whoa-ho! Safety vests on, me hearties! I'll steer us to the nearest island. Whoo-hoo! (He leaves the S.S Feathersword.)
(A time circle transition to The Wiggly Mascots are still in the hot air balloon.)
Henry: Oh, it looks like the Captain has found a beautiful place to shelter.
Captain Feathersword: (He's rowing the inflatable raft.) Oh-ho! Not long now, Jeff, and we'll be safe ashore with the rest of The Wiggles.
Jeff: Beauty, Captain, mate. We've made it!
Captain Feathersword: Whoo-hoo-hoo! Oh-ho, yes indeed! Well done, Jeff, me hearty. Whoo-hoo!
(It transitions to the water floats towards the sand. While Dressing Up instrumental track is playing in the background. Until, it transitions to The Wiggles & Captain Feathersword congratulate by saving the storm.)
Murray: Captain, that was great sailing. Thanks for saving us from the storm.
Captain Feathersword: Oh, that's alright, Murray, me hearty. I'm just sad we couldn't get the Big Red Boat to the island.
Anthony: No worries, Captain. Let me put your mind at ease. The Big Red Boat is safely anchored offshore.
Ben: (He pops up.) Captain, me mate, mate, mate, mate, mate! The SS Feathersword needs a few... (He shakes his head, while it's clinking.) ..repairs.
Captain Feathersword: OK, Ben, you and the crew fix the SS Feathersword and we'll have a look around here.
Ben: Fix the SS Feathersword! (He pops down.)
Greg: Captain, this is such a big island. Why don't we split up and have a look around? Why don't you have a look down that way and we'll go and head through the bush?
Captain Feathersword: Oh, right you are, Greg.
The Wiggles: Hooray! (They had to go head back to see the Queen of the Rainbow.)
(It transitions to The Wiggles entered with 4 colour filters that they found these 4 colour doors.)
Anthony: Hey, hey, hey! Wow! Have a look at this! What is it, everybody? (His tummy is rumbling.)
Murray: Hey, what's that sound?
Anthony: That's the sound of my tummy rumbling. Yeah, I'm really hungry!
Jeff: It's close to Anthony's dinnertime.
Greg: Anthony, don't worry. We'll get you back in time for dinner at Wigglehouse. Don't worry about that, mate.
Murray: Wow, look at all these doors. I wonder what's behind them?
Jeff: Maybe we should open them.
Murray: Yeah, good idea, Jeff. Which one should we open first?
Greg: I don't know. How about we knock on this one and see what's behind this?
Georgie Parker: (offscreen.) That's a good choice, Greg.
Greg: Huh?
Anthony: Huh?
Murray: Huh?
Jeff: Huh?
Greg: Who was that?
Georgie Parker: I'm the Queen. The Queen of the Rainbow. You know, the King's cousin. (She shakes her hips.) Uh-huh.
The Wiggles: (They shake their hips.) Uh-huh!
Anthony: (His tummy is rumbling again.) Uh... (He bows down.) ..sorry, Your Majesty. That's my tummy rumbling. I'm very hungry. We have to get back to Wigglehouse pretty quickly, guys.
Jeff: We did promise to get him home for dinner.
Georgie Parker: Oh, don't worry, Jeff, you will, because you've nearly reached the end of the rainbow.
Murray: Ah, so the end of the rainbow's around here somewhere?
Georgie Parker: Oh, yes, Murray. After a storm, there's sure to be a rainbow.
Anthony: (He bows down.) Oh, well, Your Royal Rainbowness, thank you for telling us we're close to the rainbow. But if we could be so bold as to ask, where exactly is that rainbow? We want to know!
Georgie Parker: (She's showing to them.) Well, it's behind these doors.
Murray: What's in this open door here?
Georgie Parker: Here we have the pot of gold that's at the end of the rainbow!
The Wiggles: Hooray! The end of the rainbow!
Anthony: Wow! (He's holding a golden apple.) Look, gold! (He unwraps the golden aluminum foil.) Hey, hang on a second. Have a look at this. Gold-wrapped fruit!
Georgie Parker: I knew you'd like that, Anthony.
Anthony: Oh, and I do, Your Majesty. I do! (He tries to eat an apple.)
Murray: Your Majesty, what's behind these other doors?
Georgie Parker: Well, they all lead back to Wigglehouse. I thought you'd like the choice of colours.
Anthony: And we do, Your Majesty. We do. (He tries to eat an apple, his tummy is rumbling once again.) Oops, sorry about that, Your Majesty. I'm still hungry.
Captain Feathersword: (offscreen.) Ahoy there, me hearties!
Anthony: No time for that now, though. That's the Captain! After you, Your Majesty. Away we go!
Captain Feathersword: (He arrives with The Wiggly Mascots who got off the hot air ballon.) Oh-ho! Ahoy there, Wiggles.
The Wiggles: Ahoy there, Captain Feathersword!
Captain Feathersword: Ahoy there, Your Ladyship. Hoo-hoo! "Lady" and "ship". Hoo-hoo-hoo!
Georgie Parker: (She laughs.) Ahoy there, Captain. Hello, Dorothy and Wags and Henry. You've arrived just in time to travel back to Wigglehouse.
All: Hooray!
Anthony: Well, everybody, we'd like to thank our wonderful Queen of the Rainbow and our dear friend, the King of the Road.
Kamahl: (He shakes his hips.) Uh-huh!
Anthony: And also, we'd like to thank you for coming with us to the end of the rainbow.
Greg: Yeah, let's just forget about the race. I mean, we all got here pretty much the same time anyway. The most important thing is we helped each other on the way. And thanks for joining us on the race to the rainbow, everybody. We hope you had a great time. Let's have a dance now to celebrate. (They're wiggling their fingers.)
